Our Quality approach
Quality is central to all we do at OTM. It starts with how we approach the initial problem identification and lasts through design to manufacture.
Our Quality process has been recognised by customers including Thales and BAE Systems. In addition we are proud to have achieved ISO 9001 / AS9100D certification in March 2017.

Certification by BAE
OTM has a long history of working with BAE Systems including successfully developing of a flight safe throttle actuator for the Herti UAV drone. As a result of and in response to this work, BAE Systems has included OTM on the BAE Systems Aircraft Business Units Register of Evaluated Suppliers for Military Programme Activities.
Quality Process
ISO 9001 / AS9100D
In March 2017 following an extensive audit in accordance with the requirements of EN 9104-001:2013 by Bureau Veritas Certification, OTM was certified to conform to Quality Management Systems Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2015 / EN 9100:2018 which is technically equivalent to AS9100D.
The scope of certification was the design, manufacture and repair of precision electro-mechanical systems, assemblies and components.

Missile approved by Thales
OTM’s quality management system was evaluated by Thales Air Defence. They confirmed that OTMSs complied with the Thales quality requirements VP01.
